✿ Games ✿
Some of my favorite games!
Disilluion ST
Trippy dungeon crawler about escaping the cycle of samsara.
My Thoughts
Disillusion ST is (probably) my favorite game ever made. You play as Golem, a dead man who is accompanied by Melpomene, the muse of tragedy. You two set out to construct the bohdi tree, a mechanism to acheive nirvana. This game is full of extremely interesting characters and memorable interactions. You could play it a Million times and still find new stuff. I made a pretty in depth video on it here.
Psychopomp
Kill god with a hammer.
My Thoughts
Psychopomp is a dungeon crawler in which you play as a schizophrenic woman who breaks into various buildings and beats things with hammers. It turns out shes actually god, and it's left on a huge cliff hanger. Genuinely one of the most memorable games ever made, and there's a sequel on the way. I also made a video about this one.
Noita
Rougelite where you play as a sick ass witch, also every single pixel is simulated.
My Thoughts
Noita is the best rougelite ever made. The wand-crafting system allows for you to do basically anything you want, with essentially no limits. Theres also a million and one different secrets and side quests, if you get bored of the standard progression loop.
VRChat
Watch smelly weirdos and hang out with your buddies with a box strapped to your face.
My Thoughts
I was kind of hesitant to list VRChat here. I've been playing it for 8 years now, and I'm still not sure exactly how I feel about it. I can say definitively, that it has it's usecases. Perhaps my favorite is just using it as a people-watching tool. I can't recommend it enough. Platform. Occasionally, me and my friends will all boot it up in a party of ~5, and walk around various worls simply watching the strangest the internet has to offer. This is fun, but its not the only way I play. I also enjoy exploring pretty worlds (people who are really really good with unity are able to do some insane things here), watching videos with friends, and losing all my money in poker. If you google VRChat, you're bound to find videos of weirdos, and these people do exist. Theyre sort of the reason why I rarely say outloud that I play, but they usually stick to their own worlds.
Escape From Tarkov
Dogshit extraction shooter I've been playing for 6 years.
My Thoughts
Tarkov is a bad game, that I have played for 6 years, and will probably still be playing 6 years from now. I cannot in good faith recommend it to anyone, however it's one of my favorite games ever. The gunplay is unmatched, and the weapon building system is one of a kind. Try at your own discretion.
Elite Dangerous
Space trucking, combat, and exploration.
My Thoughts
Elite Dangerous is the most boomer game that I indulge in. It's essentially a space simulator, doing the idea before Star Citizen did. Space is absolutely beautiful here, and looks even better in VR. I've lost a lot of hours just running trading routes and watching youtube on my second monitor.
